Emily Stimpson ChapmanEmily Stimpson Chapman is a freelance Catholic writer and speaker whose books include The Catholic Table:Finding Joy Where Food and Faith Meet (Emmaus Road, 2016), The American Catholic Almanac (Random House: 2014) These Beautiful Bones: An Everyday Theology of the Body (Emmaus Road, 2013), and The Catholic Girl's Survival Guide for the Single Years (Emmaus Road, 2012). Her newest book, forthcoming in late 2018, is Don't Paint the Subway Tile! Lessons in Love, Sin, Gin, and Grace from a Real Life Fixer Upper. Emily is also the author of the Courageous! series of Bible studies for teen and pre-teen girls, as well as several new studies for the women's ministry Endow.

Over the years, Emily's writing has regularly appeared in Our Sunday Visitor, he National Catholic Register, and Franciscan Magazine, as well as First Things, Touchstone, Franciscan Way, Faith and Family, Lay Witness, Catholic Digest, and elsewhere. It has been honored by both the Catholic Press Association and the Associated Church Press, and was included in Loyola's Best Catholic Writing series.
